FEATURED JOBS Sales Support Associate-PALO ALTO Sr. Analyst – Finance/Tax Finance & Accounting Outstanding Writer and Marketing Specialist Manager, Marketing & Client Services Enterprise Services Product Manager - DerivSERV Analyst - Sr. Analyst Asset Management Associate (Internal Wholesaler) VP, National Accounts Defined Contribution / Retirement Sales Sales Product Management Associate--Global Fixed Income Compliance Analyst / Process Specialist	Job Title Sr. Analyst – Finance/Tax Finance & Accounting Ref Code MFC 004 Last Updated 7/30/2010 Description Analyst will be responsible for the following tax and financial reporting requirements of American Beacon Advisors and its investment portfolios:  Prepare U.S. federal, state corporate and partnership tax returns.  Prepare annual and semi-annual book-to-tax adjustment analyses by examining the taxability of income and expenses as related to regulated investment companies (Subchapter M of the Internal Revenue Code).  Prepare annual, semi-annual and quarterly tax basis calculations relating to shareholder disclosure in financial statements and other related SEC filings.  Analyze annual, semi-annual and quarterly distribution requirements specific to regulated investment companies.  Prepare annual and semi-annual shareholder reports for the mutual funds.  Prepare and provide timely information to external and internal auditors.  Special projects as required. Qualifications Ideal candidate will have a high personal standard of excellence with a drive for results, a great attitude and the following:  Accounting, Finance and/or Tax degree with five plus years of experience.  Certified Public Accountant preferable.  Corporate and partnership tax compliance experience.  Excellent analytical, organizational and computer skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.  Deadline oriented and ability to manage workload accordingly.  Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.  Possess expertise in maintaining professional relationships with internal and external contacts.  Strong oral and written communication skills.  Proficiency in MS Word and Excel required.  Flexibility to work extended hours as necessary.  Position will report to the Manager of Tax and Financial Reporting of American Beacon Advisors, Inc.
