Description
Responsibilities include assisting in the selection, evaluation and on going monitoring of external investment managers for the employee benefit plans and mutual funds. Over time, as knowledge and skills necessary for investment decision-making and manager selection develop, the logical career progression includes Sr. Analyst and/or Manager responsibilities.

Specific responsibilities may include:

 Monitor adherence to investment guidelines.

 Monitor and analyze investment performance and benchmarks.

 Meet with portfolio advisers.

 Interface with outside vendors/advisers on investment related items.

 Review and enhance mutual fund marketing materials and provide customer service to clients.

 Prepare written analyses on the Plans'/Funds' performance for newsletters, annual/semi-annual reports, and various presentations.

 Accompany sales representatives in meetings with existing or prospective fund shareholders.

 Screen PSN database.

 Allocate cash and rebalance investment portfolios.

 Many special / ad hoc analytical projects, as assigned.
Qualifications
 Previous investment experience preferred.

 Individual selected must be a team player and posses the ability to drive key decisions in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

 Successful candidate must have excellent interpersonal, presentation, oral and written communication skills.

 Strong planning, organization, analytical and technical skills are required.

 Ability to handle multiple responsibilities concurrently and work independently to perform a variety of tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.

 Flexibility for business travel that includes meeting with fund managers, attending investment conferences and shareholder/prospect sales calls.

 Ability to identify and implement technology solutions to improve work processes.

 Advanced level proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint required.

 College degree required; MBA and/or CFA preferred.
