Over time, as knowledge and skills necessary for investment decision-making and manager selection develop, the logical career progression includes Sr. Analyst and/or Manager responsibilities. Specific responsibilities may include:  Monitor adherence to investment guidelines.  Monitor and analyze investment performance and benchmarks.  Meet with portfolio advisers.  Interface with outside vendors/advisers on investment related items.  Review and enhance mutual fund marketing materials and provide customer service to clients.  Prepare written analyses on the Plans'/Funds' performance for newsletters, annual/semi-annual reports, and various presentations.  Accompany sales representatives in meetings with existing or prospective fund shareholders.  Screen PSN database.  Allocate cash and rebalance investment portfolios.  Many special / ad hoc analytical projects, as assigned. Qualifications  Previous investment experience preferred.  Individual selected must be a team player and posses the ability to drive key decisions in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.  Successful candidate must have excellent interpersonal, presentation, oral and written communication skills.  Strong planning, organization, analytical and technical skills are required.  Ability to handle multiple responsibilities concurrently and work independently to perform a variety of tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.  Flexibility for business travel that includes meeting with fund managers, attending investment conferences and shareholder/prospect sales calls.  Ability to identify and implement technology solutions to improve work processes.  Advanced level proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint required.  College degree required; MBA and/or CFA preferred.
