Description


The Derivative Services Business Unit manages the P&L of the regulated subsidiary, TIW. The Business Unit focuses on strengthening relationships in the derivatives business with the senior level of participants and industry groups, as well as with regulators, identifying additional target segments, marketing DTCC's current and future products and services, identifying opportunities to develop new products and services. Monitoring overall customer satisfaction and meeting all regulatory requirements.



Position Summary

A Product Manager works closely with Product Managers within the unit and within the core, MarkitSERV, ADM, Operations, Legal, and all Compliance areas within the DTCC core. The Product manager is ultimately responsible for sound product migrations for Deriv/SERV/TIW rollouts of new products and product enhancements.



Princ iple Responsibilities: ?#128;

  •   Risk, Compliance and Regulatory:

  •   Assist in coordination in all efforts to support regulatory requests for the newly regulated entity, TIW.

  •   Assist in coordination of all day to day Risk and Compliance requirements to meet all DTCC core requirements and initiatives.

  •   Attend regulatory Audit meetings.

  •   Prepare and maintain Regulatory Audit Action Plans

  •   Independently manage large, complex product management projects, facilitating cross-functional resources to ensure project requirements for new Deriv/SERV/TIW products and enhancements are achieved:

  •   Manage the overall timely delivery of large products to market in coordination with the PM team.

  •   Execute new product launches and functions as liaison between MarkitSERV and ADM.

  •   Post all projects to the HP PPM (Mercury ITG) software and maintain the project run costs and lifecycle using the software.

  •   Create project reporting through Mercury and review project progress periodically with ADM and PMs.

  •   Participate in internal product meetings and product working groups.

  •   Supervise the rollout of projects, ensure system integrity and resolve any product rollout conflicts.

  •   Create and present all required Stage gate documentation.

  •   Review all project lifecycle (CMMI) documentation for business requirement continuity.

  •   Manage the product pricing and invoicing of new product.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  •   Manage the cross-functional project support team meetings to ensure project strategy and operational issues are addressed.

  •   Direct all support areas to document all new operating procedures and ensure personnel training.

  •   Coordinate the End User Testing with support team.

  •   Responsible for supporting the department in adherence to AML/BSA policies and procedures as set-forth by various regulatory bodies.

    Exp erience :

    5 years experience working in the financial services industry; knowledge of securities industry and business applications for Derivatives processing a plus, including knowledge of systems technology, derivatives processing, clearing and settlement a plus.

    Experience in product management, project management or related areas including relationship management, sales, marketing, and IT development.



    Knowledge/Skills:

  •   Knowledge of DTCC core Compliance, AML, BSA, OFAC, KYC, Privacy policies and programs.

  •   Knowledge of Stage Gate and CMMI methodologies.

  •   Knowledge of DTCC's derivative products and services and how they leverage DTCC's core capabilities;

  •   Ability to understand and effectively communicate complex product and service offerings;

  •   Well-organized, able to set priorities and to bring open projects to closure;

  •   Excellent relationship building skills;

  •   Strong interpersonal, presentation, and analytical skills;

  •   Ability to work as part of highly dynamic, new products virtual team; and

  •   Excellent communication skills (oral and written)

  •   Excellent computer skills, specifically on business applications such as Word, Excel, Lotus Notes, XACT, HP PPM (Mercury ITG)

    Education, Training or Certification:

    Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
