Description
The position partners closely with the external wholesaler in a geographical sales territory in order to develop new relationships and manage existing relationships to generate and increase equity sales for Turner.

The pace of the position is rapid and the demands are high; consequently, proven results-based success will be rewarded.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS

• Initiate high volume of phone calls per day with potential clients

• Work with the external wholesaler to develop initiatives to grow client base and sales revenues

• Provide financial insight, product information, continuous portfolio updates, and value-added sales tools to the external wholesaler

• Provide wholesaling support; as the position grows, increase handling of incoming calls and respond intelligently and rapidly to client requests

• Expect limited travel to meet with clients

Qualifications
ESTABLISHED CAPABILITIES

• Experience in investment product sales and a working knowledge of mutual funds and financial industry products and services are a must

• Four-year college degree

• Ability to work independently and to communicate clearly and concisely

• Comfort with required high level of phone work and duties of support role

• Strong aptitude for technology, including software applications (Microsoft Office), e-mail and database management

• High personal ethical standards

• Series 6 and 63 Licenses required; Series 7 preferred. If Series 6, ability to obtain Series 7 within 3 months of hire required

Position reports to: Managing Director
