Description
The VP of Interactive Marketing - RiverSource will provide leadership for the RiverSource.com online strategy and interactive execution for outside distribution efforts. This role will be directly responsible for working with RiverSource Marketing and Business teams to translate offline strategies into online deliverables. The VP will identify the online functionality, tools, and content necessary to achieve critical business goals and prioritize associated projects according to overall business objectives.
This role will evaluate the interactive efforts for RiverSource Investments, Insurance and Annuities to identify linkages across business lines and find ways to strengthen connectivity between other Ameriprise business units. He/She will identify opportunities to simplify the online customer experience and lead efforts to drive customer value, build the brand, grow new client acquisition, deepen and strengthen relationships with existing clients, and achieve operational excellence. This position reports to VP, Interactive Strategy & Marketing.
Additional Responsibilities:
-Translate the RiverSource business and marketing strategies into online deliverables
-Develop relationships across RiverSource to ensure alignment across multiple product marketing teams
-Lead key online projects from concept through launch, ensuring exceptional communication throughout the process on budgets, prioritization, and timelines
-Establish ongoing account planning and collaborate with the Interactive Solutions team for online project delivery
-Lead and manage a team of interactive relationship managers
-Drive online business results that contribute to business unit goals
-Align with enterprise interactive standards and RiverSource brand standards
-Ensure compliance with the interactive project delivery framework
-Provide leadership across other Interactive Marketing teams including management of strategic priorities not within direct scope of this position |
Qualifications
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Exceptional problem solving skills combined with strategic vision and the ability to drive projects to completion
Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
Ability to collaborate and influence others regardless of reporting relationship
High comfort level working across multiple business units and stakeholders
Ability to differentiate between strategies and deliverables / tasks
Ability to multitask and thrive in a deadline driven environment
Strong leadership skills and proven record of delivery.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage and deliver multiple projects concurrently.
Minimum 10 years business experience, with at least 5 years of Asset Management or Insurance/Annuities marketing experience
Minimum 5 years Interactive experience
Bachelor's degree required, Master¿s degree preferred
