Overview
This IT professional is involved primarily in the development and maintenance of internal applications and interfaces designed by ALPS.
Responsibilities
Assist in the development efforts related to departmental efficiency projects.
Maintain and improve the corporate Intranet portal.
Maintain a proper testing environment for all development efforts.
Assist in the development and maintenance of client-facing web applications.
Skills
Professional coding skills and the ability to deliver code that requires minimal rework.
Flexible approach and the ability to multi-task while making progress on larger projects.
Strong understanding of programming concepts and tools including Microsoft ASP.NET and C#.
Solid SQL skills.
Familiarity with source control and change management a plus.
Familiarity with open source tools a plus.
Detailed understanding of enterprise-level applications.
Good communication skills.
Strong organizational skills.
Able to thrive in a high-stress environment.
Qualifications
Four-year business or technical degree.
Technical certifications.
